FBE Coating Insights
Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) is a thermoset epoxy-based powder coating used to protect pipelines, valves, and steel pipes from corrosion. It withstands temperatures up to 95°C and is known for strong adhesion and durability.
Widely used in oil & gas transporting pipelines, refineries, chemical industries, and water/wastewater treatment plants. Also applied to drilling pipes and external field joints for superior protection.
FBE is applied by electrostatic spray onto preheated surfaces using fluidized powder beds or drums. Clean, dry compressed air ensures coating quality. We also coat internal pipe surfaces using our in-house special coating system.
